One of Hong Kong’s most highly anticipated events, Clockenflap, unfolded last weekend from November 29 to December 2, 2024. Over the three days, festivalgoers were treated to performances by renowned international acts and emerging local artists across six stages, made all the better with the picturesque backdrop of the harbour and some fantastic weather.
International acts like St. Vincent, Glass Animals, Porter Robinson, Air and more, thrilled audiences throughout the weekend. The festival's global appeal was evident in its diverse lineup, engaging festival-goers with a variety of music genres and artistic expressions. And let's not forget the show-stopping performances by Taiwan’s deca joins, Japan’s Creepy Nuts, and Lebanon’s Ibrahim Maloouf, who set the stage on fire and left audiences clamouring for more.
The festival not only showcased a stellar lineup of artists, but also offered a wide range of fun activities for all attendees, including a silent disco, an inflatable mushroom art installation – perfect for lounging in between sets, a mobile art installation and DJ booth called The Origin to create impromptu parties on the go, and several delicious food and beverage vendors, serving up a wide range of cuisines ranging from tacos to grilled cheese sandwiches.
Looking ahead, festival organizers have announced that Clockenflap 2025 is scheduled for December 5-7, with “blind bird” tickets available now via Ticketflap.
