Inside Cathay Pacific's Retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER – Including the All-New Aria Suite

Cathay Pacific is poised to redefine inflight luxury as it prepares to launch its revamped Boeing 777-300ER in October 2024. With 361 seats spread across Business, Premium Economy, and Economy, the airline promises a tailored experience that emphasises comfort and enjoyment at every altitude.

Enter the Aria Suite: A Business Class Experience Like No Other

At the heart of this transformation is the all-new Aria Suite. It retains beloved elements of Cathay Pacific’s previous Business class offerings — think generous beds and ample storage —b ut elevates the experience with groundbreaking features. A suite door introduces a level of privacy previously unseen in the skies, allowing passengers to work, rest, or relax in solitude. For those travelling with a companion, a movable partition adds flexibility to the shared experience.

The suite invites personalisation from the moment you step in. Customers can adjust the lighting to match their mood, whether they prefer a bright workspace or a cosy ambiance. And entertainment? Prepare for a 24-inch 4K ultra-high-definition screen, the largest ever on a Cathay Pacific flight. Bluetooth connectivity lets you pair your headphones for a bespoke viewing experience.

Thoughtful Design Meets Functionality

Attention to detail permeates the Aria Suite, from its soft-touch suede walls to premium leather accents. A multi-tier console design offers generous storage options, while a built-in wireless charger ensures that your devices remain powered up without the clutter of cables. There’s even a slide-away drawer, perfect for securing your valuables — because who wants to rummage through their bag at 30,000 feet?

Comfort extends to the ergonomically designed aisle-side armrest, which features height adjustments and doubles as an extension of the bed surface. Each component is crafted to enhance your in-flight experience, marrying form with function.

Premium Economy and Economy: A Refreshing Approach

The Premium Economy cabin, too, receives a significant upgrade. Each seat comes with a leather headrest and a 15.6-inch 4K screen — larger than any other in its class — ensuring that comfort and quality go hand in hand. A cocktail table with an extendable surface adds to the convenience, while thoughtful storage options are strategically placed for easy access.

Economy class travellers can expect a refreshed experience that retains the advancements of Cathay Pacific’s Airbus A350. Enhanced inflight entertainment, innovative headrests, and improved ergonomics elevate the journey for all passengers.

Seamless Connectivity and Aesthetic Enhancements

From the moment you board, the cabin environment sets a tone of tranquility. Greeted by a striking feature wall and enhanced mood lighting, you'll find yourself in a space designed to relax and rejuvenate. Each lavatory, equipped with touchless fixtures and three-stage lighting, reflects a commitment to modernity and convenience.

Inflight connectivity is another game-changer. Passengers can stay connected with Wi-Fi access that accommodates browsing, streaming, and professional needs. Business class guests enjoy complimentary service, while Cathay Diamond members can access Wi-Fi across all cabins starting in November.
