A short stroll takes you to trendy neighbourhoods like Potts Point and Darlinghurst, providing a perfect balance of tranquility and vibrancy.

Accommodation
Ovolo Woolloomoolo features 100 hotel rooms. All of them are spacious and thoughtfully decorated with bright colours, eclectic pieces, and quirky lighting. We checked into the CityVoo Loft Suite on the top floor, featuring a two-level room with an ensuite upstairs and a bathroom downstairs for convenience. All rooms are equipped with an iPad, Alexa, and Chromecast, a nice touch for us to enjoy a cosy movie night after dinner. In keeping with Ovolo's commitment to sustainability, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are presented in large bottles and any travel essentials can be ordered through a QR code to minimise waste. The rooms also feature automatic blackout blinds, super comfy king-sized beds, tea and coffee machines and a comfortable lounging space on the first floor.
Downstairs in the lobby, the hotel connects to popular restaurants or the hotel's own Bar Woolloomooloo, meaning you don't have to leave the wharfside premises to enjoy a luxurious weekend. Another unique aspect is the music theme throughout, from the Ovolo radio to the INXS and AC/DC signage on Level 5. Upon asking reception, we were told the owner is a huge music fan and designed two extremely spacious loft suites with stunning city views fit for a rockstar, dubbed the Ultraroo rooms. A unique round cocktail bar sets the scene center-stage downstairs, surrounded by oversized couches and plenty of room to relax and enjoy.
Amenities
Ovolo Woolloomooloo offers a range of amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Guests can enjoy easy-to-connect, fast Wi-Fi and flexible check-in and check-out times upon request. The hotel also provides complimentary self-service laundry facilities on-site. The 24/7 indoor pool and jacuzzi, along with a well-equipped gym area, are highlights, featuring shaded poolside cabanas that make it perfect for relaxation even in winter.

Bar Woolloomooloo, located downstairs behind reception, offers casual bar-style menu perfectly paired with an impressive selection of cocktails and exquisite Australian wines. While the food menu is modest, the premises are thoughtfully decorated and comfortable to enjoy an afternoon tipple and snack or a pre-dinner cocktail. For those wanting to experience more of the dining scene in the area, some of Sydney’s finest waterfront restaurants are connected towards the back of the wharfside building —China Doll, Manta, and Otto — all of which feature views of the Domain and Sydney CBD skyscrapers for those wanting to dine more luxuriously.
