A haven of calm despite its location, W London’s Away Spa is a calm oasis, with its white-on-white interiors and decadent treatment rooms. The treatment menu is immense and ranges from massages to non-surgical advanced beauty therapies – all delivered with the renowned W Hotels excellence. It actually does feel miles ‘away’ from the chaotic hustle and bustle of Chinatown and Leicester Square below, it really is quite magical.

The 100-square-metre Away Spa uses Natura Bisse products throughout the treatment menu – one of our personal favourite Spanish skincare brands.

The Luxury Spa Rituals

The AWAY Spa offers three luxury spa rituals, including the Citrus Essence Ritual, Wind Down and Relax, and the Back to Life Ritual – which I selected. Starting with a de-stressing acupuncture massage focusing on the back, foot and scalp, this immediately recharged my fatigued body after a long weekend of skiing. The treatment then moves onto the antioxidant face treatment, which infuses citrus ingredients to rejuvenate your complexion. This is perfect to counteract the harsh pollutants of London, and I plan to revisit monthly for the same ritual.

FIT Space at W London

FIT is the premier destination for health and fitness in London. The Away Spa shares the floor with this energy-charged fitness space, hosting a fantastic selection of cardio and muscle-toning equipment. The views look down onto Leicester Square and above at the central London skyline, a unique escapism whilst on the treadmill.
